Wu Aiying, female, is a native of Changle, Shandong Province. She was born in 1951, joined the CPC in 1970 and graduated from the Department of Politics at Shandong University in 1973.
Wu held various Party positions in Shandong province early in her career. She was also active in the CYLC, both at the prefectural and provincial levels. A member of several women's groups, Wu later became vice governor of Shandong. She became Minister of Justice in 2005.
She is currently a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
