Wang Yong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Gaizhou, Liaoning province. He was born in 1955 and joined the CPC in 1974. Wang Yong is a postgraduate.
Wang has held leading positions at the 230 plant of the Ministry of Astronautics Industry, and served as assistant to the director there until 1996. He subsequently transferred to the China Astronautics Corporation, where he served as head of the personnel department. In 1999, Wang Yong held the title of deputy general manager of the China Aerospace Mechanic and Electronic Corporation.
Wang Yong served as Deputy Director of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission for 2003-2008. He is a member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the 17th CPC Central Committee. In 2008, he became Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
