Biography

Wang Wei, male, Han nationality, is a native of Tianjin. He was born in 1950, joined the CPC in 1971, and attained a master's degree from the State University of New Jersey. He is an associate professor. Wang currently serves as secretary general of the Olympic Games Organizing Committee.

Prior to his current appointment, Wang served as deputy secretary general of the Beijing Municipal Government and deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
