Sun Laiyan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Beijing Municipality. He was born in 1957 and graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University n 1982 with a Bachelor Degree. From 1987 to 1993, he studied at No.6 University of Paris and got his Doctorate Degree from this University in France in 1993. From 1999 to 2004 Sun served as Deputy Director of the China National Space Administration and from From 2004 to 2010 was Director of the China National Space Administration. Since April 2010, he serves as Chairman of State-Owned Key Major Industry Supervision Council under State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council.
