Song Yuying, female, Han nationality, is a native of Xizhou, Henan Province. She was born in 1950, joined the CPC in 1970, and received an in-service junior college education at the Central Party School.

Song began her career as a cadre at the Hongsheng Commune. She later held several leadership positions at the county and prefectural levels. In the early 1980s, Song served as director and secretary of the leading Party group of the Hubei Provincial Women's Federation and the Provincial Industrial and Commercial Administration. She has at the so served as secretary-general of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee.

Song Yuying was a delegate to the 15th CPC National Congress and is currently a member of the 17th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
