Biography

Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai, male, Tibetan, is a native of Litang County, Sichuan Province. He was born in 1940.

Early in his career, Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai served on several committees in the Tibet Autonomous Region. He later became vice-chairman of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee.

He is currenlty Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee and Vice-Chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee.
