Biography
Lu Zhonghe, male, Han nationality, is a native of Luoding, Guangdong province. He was born in 1940, joined the CPC in 1966, and graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Science, as well as studying abroad in the USA.
Lu was research fellow at the Guangdong Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Science until 1986. Subsequently he became president of the Guangdong branch of the Academy. He was elected chairman of the standing committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress in 2003.
