Liu Jiren, male, Han nationality is a native of Dandong, Liaoning Province. He was born in 1955, graduated Computer Application Department of Northeastern University (was Northeastern China Institute of Technology) in 1980.
Liu was the first man with a doctorate degree in computer application that China ever cultivated. He was employed as a professor at the age of 33, one of the youngest in the country during the period. Liu served as president of Shenyang Neusoft Software Co. Ltd. and concurrently as vice-president of Northeast China University. He also served as deputy director-general of the China Software Industry Association and the China Internet Association.
