Liu Binjie, male, Han nationality, is a native of Changwu County, Shaanxi province. He was born in 1948, graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1982, and joined the CPC in 1971. He holds a master's degree and he is a professor, senior economist and doctoral tutor.
He currently serves as director of the General Administration of Press and Publication, Director of the National Copyright Administration of the PRC, and is a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
