Biography

Lin Shusen, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shantou, Guangdong Province. He was born in 1946, entered the work force in 1970, and joined the CPC in 1981. He graduated from Guangdong Engineering College in 1970.

Lin served as a technician, planner and manager in different organizations in Heping County, Guangdong Province from 1970 to 1980. In 1983 he became deputy mayor of Huizhou City. He later became director of the Guangdong Province Planning Commission. In 1996 he became acting mayor of Guangzhou City.

Lin was an alternate member of the 16th CPC Central Committee. In August 2010, Lin resigned as Governor of Guizhou Province. He is currently a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and Vice-Chairman of the 11th CPPCC Subcommittee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese.
