Liao Yongyuan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Songzi County, Hubei Province. He was born in 1962, entered the work force in 1982, graduated from Jianghan Petroleum University (called Changjiang University currently, Jinzhou City, Hubei Province) and China University of Petroleum. From 2007 to 2013, he was Deputy General Manager, CNPC. Since 2013, he is General Manager and Director of PetroChina Company Limited (CNPC).
