Biography Highlight

Li Xueyong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province. He was born in 1950, entered the work force in 1968 and graduated from the Polymer Chemistry Department of the Beijing College of Chemical Technology with a Bachelor Degree in 982. He had served as vice-mayor of Xi'an municipality. From 1998 to 2010, he was vice-minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
 He is currently a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and Deputy Secretary, CPC, Jiangsu Provincial Committee. In 2011 he became Governor of Jiangsu Province.
