Biography
Li Chuncheng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Haicheng, Liaoning Province. He was born in 1956, graduated from Harbin Industry University and joined the CPC in 1978.
Li began his career as a lecturer at Harbin University where he served in various Party positions prior to becoming secretary of the Harbin CPC Municipal Committee. In 1997, he became deputy mayor of Harbin. Three years later, he became mayor of Chengdu.
Li is now Deputy Secretary of CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee.
