Biography Highlight

Hou Jianguo, male, Han nationality, is a native of Fuqing City, Fujian Province. He was born in 1959, graduated from University of Science and Technology of China with Doctorate Degree in Condensed Matter Physics in 1989. From 2005 to 2008, he was Executive Vice President of University of Science and Technology of China. Currently, he serves as President of University of Science and Technology of China and Member of 11th NPC Standing Committee.
