Biography
Gu Qiangqi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Fuping, Hebei Province. He was born in 1947, and graduated from Beijing Steel and Iron College. Gu has spent over two decades in the steel industry, and has won awards as a model worker. In 1997, he served as deputy chairman of the Wuyang Steel Company, a subsidiary of the Hangang Group. In 1998, he was promoted to chairman.
