Geng Huichang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Hebei province. He was born in 1951, and he is a member of the CPC. He served as deputy director general of the China International Cultural Exchange Center and vice-minister of the Ministry of State Security before being promoted as minister of the Ministry of State Security in 2007.
He is a member of the 10th CPPCC National Committee and the 17th CPC Central Committee.
