E Jingping, male, Han nationality, is a native of Leting County, Hebei province. He was born in 1956, entered the work force in 1973 and joined the CPC in 1975. E graduated from the North China Hydraulic Engineering Institute in 1983. He held leading posts at the Ministry of Water and Electric Power, and he began his career at the Ministry of Water Resources in 1983.
