Biography
Chen Ziyuan, male, Han nationality, was born in Shanghai and is a native of Jin County, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the Chemical Department of Daxia University of Shanghai and was professor at Zhejiang Agricultural University. He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1991.
Chen is a nuclear agronomist, noted for applying isotope tracer techniques in developing and using pesticides.
